COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This dark ale boasts Belgian dubbel-ish character focusing on rich aromatic malt and a touch of brown sugar-like sweetness. Rich up front, it finishes dry and balanced. Unspiced, we have added copious quantities of fresh, hand-chopped Cinderella pumpkins which provide some body and just a subtle hint of pumpkin flavor. These are the same pumpkins, with bright orange skin and flesh and an exaggerated shape, turned by the fairy godmother into a coach and four horses to rush Cinderella to the ball. Our house Belgian yeast strain offers its signature hints of spice and fruit and brings the whole beer together. Glass slipper and handsome prince not included.

On tap@ Elysian GPBF 2012. Hazy copper color with ivory head. Big belgian spicy yeast, dark pit fruit, earthy pumpkin aromas. Medium bodied with soft co2. Nice dark pit fruit, spicy yeast flavors with mild vegetal pumpkin--very tasty belgian style pumpkin brew

Guest tap at Stewarts... (delaware) Murkey brown pour in a tulip glass. Nose of sweet malts, molases, spices and a little pumpkin. Taste is not bad... Malty sweet but not sugary, spices, pumpkin. More of an abbey dubbel than a pumpkin ale... Medium body. Overall: Nice sipping brew.

Hazy, thick red amber. Light aroma but big palate of nutmeg and allspice with a little candied fruit and pumpkin. Nice round palate is very belgian.

tap at CBC. notes of brown sugar, raisins, dry toast, nice pecan nuttiness. not getting much pumpkin. peary spiced belgian yeast adds complexity. low carbonation. not my favorite style, but seemed to work reasonable well as a whole. fine beer.
