CharlesDarwin (1333), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 15, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Light, clean Belgian ester nose. Almonds and citrus. Pours a clouded amber, thick and meaty with a rim in off-white. Wow. Intense hop flavor, actually very forward and mixed with delicious phenols. Really grassy and parchingly dry in the hops. Fresh and dank. Reminiscent of marijuana strains. High carbonation actually lifts this a lot. The malt is hidden beneath a wonderful blossom of hops and yeast flavor. A nice beer. Maybe a touch out of balance, but something I’m really digging. Slipstream (315), USA Apr 14, 2008 Really interesting mix of Belgian style and IPA boldness. One of my favorites from this brewpub. bu11zeye (3572), Frisco, Texas, USA Nov 6, 2007 (Draught) Pours a lightly hazy golden-amber body with a small white head. Aroma of coriander, passion fruit, honey, and herbal. Flavor of spruce, honey, herbs, and citric hoppiness with a bitter finish. BitchesBrew (697), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Sep 1, 2007 [draught @ the brewpub] Hazy golden yellow color. Aroma is slightly sweet, with some citrus and slight acidity. Flavors are full of herbal bitterness and some smooth, grainy malt character. Refreshing, funky complexity. Lingering bitterness in the finish. Awesome stuff. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 02/11/2007

clear dark gold, wispy beige head, streaks of lace, light spicy aroma, nice hop flavor on a dry malt base with some spicy esters adding complexity rather than balance, a touch of candy sweetness comes and goes, the spices give way to robust hop flavor and a long bitter finish, called an abbey IPA it alternates between the two rather than marries them,
