3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bottle, Batch 01, bottled 08/12. Pours a mildly hazy honey color with a 1 finger white head. Aroma has a very herbal quality to it. Not sure what heather smells like, but I guess this is what I am smelling. Some spicy notes too. White pepper perhaps. Flavor is spicy w/coriander, pepper and more heather. A touch of lavender too. Medium bodied with a bit of bitterness on the tongue. Delicious, interesting beer.

22oz bottle in a lager glass. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and toasted notes from the malts, plus floral hops. There is also a grape-like and herbal character from the flowers. Flavor a nice blend of these. Average texture. An interesting and unique beer.

Tap at CBC. Aroma of unique Lavender. Soft earthy wet hay. Sweet doughy raisin bread. Taste is herbs. Wild flowers. But touch too much floral scented soap to entice me to drink this regularly. But neat. And fun to try. Well made.

Bomber from the pig at market common. These guys take a gimmick and do it strong. This is no exception. Lots of floral and herbal flavors. Bit of a fruitiness as well. Light bodied and easy to drink.
