Tap at IHWC. Pours a hazy yellow with a bubbly white head. Aroma was a great autumn mix, maple syrup, light tart notes and apples. Flavor of cinnamon spiced apples, light tartness and just an overall refreshing, spiced beer with appropriate tartness.

Draft. Yeasty, sweet pumpkin aroma. Light hazy gold body, thin head. Apple and pumpkin spice flavor, cinnamon. Lasting sweet aftertaste.

On tap at the 2009 Great Pumpkin Festival, Cambridge Brewing Company, Cambridge MA on 31 October 2009. 4.2% according to the brewery website, 4.3% if you go by the printed programme. Billed as "possibly the world’s first pumpkin Berliner Weisse" and I’m not going to argue with that. Hazy, pale orange colour. Sweetish on the palate. Fruity, but tart aroma becoming more tart on the finish. The spicing is quite subtle. The wheat comes through stronger than the spices, which is fine by me. Interesting and nicely drinkable if, understandably, a tad thin in the mouthfeel.
