ChrisO ’Night Of The Gaylords’ tasting. Cloudy amber beer. Softish palate. Light bubblegum and malt. A little fruit. Okay.

Tasting at Papsø
Hazy light amber color. The aroma is a fermentation mess of vegetables, with iron, menses, dirty feet and puke. If I manage to swallow some sips, it gives a metallic and acidic caramel flavor, with vegetables and spices; dry finish, quite boozy too. Undrinkable.

Clear amber coloured with a small off white head.
Sweet aroma of malts and caramel with notes of dried fruits.
Sweet flavour of malts, caramel, dried fruits and hops.
Hoppy finish.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours hazy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty, light hops fruity - citrusy. Sweet flavoured, light phenolic and alcohol presence. Crisp citrusy fruity hops flavour swept through. Ends dry, bitter and citrusy.

Cloudy amber with a medium beige head. Hoppy aroma with roasted malt, caramel and piney notes. Flavour had hops, pine, grapefruits and roasted malt. Finished dry and bitter.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and fruit, leading to a dry malty finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmith76. Pours an almost clear deep golden with a rough off-white head. Sweet fruity nose. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, fruity with a little yeast and phenols. Rather hoppy and alcohoic finish. 030410

Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sour caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091229]

Bottle at the Chriso Gaylord tasting 09. Amber. Lasting thin beige head. Not sure on my first taste. A little pukey but it settles down. But still not good. Just unpleasant. Some hop on end.

A Sim rate (cask at Pig’s Ear): Orange and apple peel in the aroma. Pear and nice citric sweetness. Mmm...it’s apple juice on a hungover morning. Glorious amber/golden colour with nice lace. Sweet but bitter apple peel with some tea in the finish. Sweet but bitter but tart but mellow. Mmm..I really like it.
