Gravicask (Cambridge Winter Ale Festival 2010)
Dull orange. Hoppy aroma. Sticky raw hops. Refreshing after a few previous sweeter beers. Juicy hoppy taste, decent graininess too. A little bit of butter in the finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask (gravity dispense). Beer #22 at Cambridge Winter Beer Festival on 21 January 2011. Bright amber colour. Lively condition. Plenty of strong, robust, tangy and peppery hops in the aroma, continuing into the palate. Some fruity malt. Firm mouthfeel with solid bitterness. A very good clean, and well balanced, strong bitter. I found it much more enjoyable and appealing than the Cambridge Moonshine Wilbraham Wanderer that I tried immediately before. A strong contender for beer of the festival.
