2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cask, gravity, at St Neots Beer Festival ’11. I think it may be a wheat beer. Gold. Sweet gentle aroma. The sharp bitterness, and oily, rounded cereal hits hard. Don’t particularly like it.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice deep gold, smells of slight citrus, slight spice, slight vegetal & a waft of barley. The palate is well rounded & has that typical Cambridge Moonshine softness. Juicy barley and soft fruit, slight citrus without the acidity. Nice finish fruity barley & light dryness. A really fresh vibrant pint & dangerously gluggable at 5%. Some 5% beers come out fighting but this remains soft, the extra alcohol just giving a rounder body.
