From the depths of CBCs Barrel Cellar comes another in our series of barrel-aged wild ales. This blonde ale was refermented in oak with multiple strains of Brettanomyces.

Months later it was blended in a stainless steel tank and dryhopped with Nelson Sauvin, Spalt, and Centennial. The fruity and floral character of these hops melds seamlessly with the tropical fruit/passionfruit/pineapple notes from the Brett.

On tap at the Night of the Funk 2012. White grape juice and lemon in the aroma with rotten grass and manure like farmy notes in the flavor. More drinkable than some of the other offerings, but not impressive.

Tap at cbc. Aroma of spruce, pine, cleaner. Somewhat remenicient of stillwater premium. Lemons. Grass. Pineapple as well. Taste is toast, limes, lemongrass. Dry mouthfeel. Pretty good. Slight solventy bandaid note is a tad offputing, but still pretty enjoyable. Similar to stillwater premium.
