COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blessed be! Our ridiculously big, hoppy I.P.A. returns to the rapturous exaltations of worshippers far and near. Featuring Simcoe, Amarillo, and Columbus hops at an unheard of rate of over three pounds per barrel, with American pale and Belgian caramel malts providing a malty but dry pedestal upon which this hop fest rides until its long, lingering,hop-bittered finish. Beware this vengeful, Old-Testament God. Say your prayers…

Bottle. Strangely my bottle says 9% alcohol. Dark amber, small top. Best part of this beer is aroma. Really nice bready hoppiness in there. Taste is a little bit dissapointing. Sweetness of the strong beer is overwhelming and even kills the hops. Nice beer, but needs some tweaks to become a great beer.

22oz bomber pours with a clear ruby red amber sort of body that supports a full tan head of foam. Nice looking beer. The aroma offers up resiny hops, floral hops, plum flavored gummy bears and some orange notes. The resiny hop aroma just keeps going despite the sweetness and this leads to resiny hoppy booze at the end of the draw. This taste is hoppy bitter and rich with sweetness. This is nice where there’s a pleasing mix of sweet malts, a dash of roasted malts, some fruity esters and then near robust levels of resiny pine like hops blended with bitter floral hops and some citrus hoppiness. Resiny hops and a sliver of roasted malts usher this to closure. This is coming together beautifully. Yum!

Hazy dark auburn amber under a fluffy foamy light beige head. The nose smells like a sweet hoppy dream, with some caramel-covered grapefruit, some strong yet soft floral tones, gentle leafy resins, and a wee bit of tropical mango. The taste has a very forward bitterness with a lovely amount of pine and floral hop notes, tasty grampefruit, earthy citrus rind, a bit of earthy leafy hop resins, and a boozy caramel and amber malt body. Sweet flavor with a dry mouthfeel, and loads of hop bitterness.

Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours ruddy copper with a beige head. Aroma of fruit hop and a touch of chocolate. Med body. Flavor is hoppy with fruit and citrus. Mild not-quite-roasty malt with a hint of chocolate. Finishes towards dry.

Usually not a red ale guy, but like this one. Key here is that while it has all the typical red all attributes, it’s more malt forward and a bit less bitter/hoppy. As a result, the flavor really comes through.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy dark amber with a small creamy white head. Aroma of sweet caramel, peach and strong piney hops. Taste is sweet malty, subduing the fine hops, herbal and piney almost hidden by the malts. Light sticky mouthfeel.Bitter pine and minty end.

Bottle @ Richard’s Tasting. Amber colored pour with an off-white head. Sweet caramel malts on the nose along with a lot of grapefruit, pine, and orange. Plenty of hops to overcome the malt. Fairly sweet taste. Lots of toffee and caramel. Heavy on the grapefruit and pine with a decent orange note. Slight nuttiness (peanut brittle?). Drinks pretty good.

This beer has a beautiful red brown color. It has the aroma of citrus and hops. I felt it was a little too bitter on the flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Murky auburn with beige head. Sparse lace. Doughy malt caramel nose. A big beer. Huge malt. More bread. Caramely with nutty edges. Nice even bitterness. A little dry on the backend. Really nice. Dig this brewery.
