COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blessed be! Our ridiculously big, hoppy I.P.A. returns to the rapturous exaltations of worshippers far and near. Featuring Simcoe, Amarillo, and Columbus hops at an unheard of rate of over three pounds per barrel, with American pale and Belgian caramel malts providing a malty but dry pedestal upon which this hop fest rides until its long, lingering,hop-bittered finish. Beware this vengeful, Old-Testament God. Say your prayers…

Hazy copper red with off-white full head. Massive hop of citrus and catty (Simcoe). Also piney. Chewy full bodied with lots of yeast on the mouthfeel. Big meadowy hops on the flavor.

tap. More of a hoppy amber... deep dark copper color, middling thick off white head, deep resnions hop aroma. Fruity sweet malty notes, some heavy bitterness, and thick citrus and resin hop flavors. Thick and sweet on the palate. Decent, but nothing really impressive.

Solid aroma of resinous, piney hops. Cloudy red amber pour with a thin offwhite head. Good flavor of resinous, piney hops with some malt. The body is medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. Good stuff.

Draft. Included as part of a sampler at the brewpub. Tried many of the offerings over several visits to the brewpub. I remembered liking pretty much everything but do not remember specifics. Will no doubt retaste many of these at future visits. Note to self: This is the one you drank out of the yard glasses. Do not do that again!

GABF 2007. A pale golden beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of grapefruit and hops. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of over, that almost makes it acidic, and gives it strong notes of grapefruit.

Rich reddish colour. Thin head. Hazy...looks beautiful. Quite cheesy hop nose with lots of caramel. Oddball taste - melon, earth, wood. None of it makes any sense. Really dry finish despite the chewy taste. For me, this simply did not come together.

On tap at the 2007 GABF: Pours a transparent deep golden bronze with a nicely-lacing wispy white head. Nice, fresh resiny piny hop aroma has good caramel malty background. Body has good sweet caramel flavor and bittering hop balance toward a crisp, bittersweet finish. A nice IIPA.
