Smells of alot of pepper. An amount I would love on my food but not my beet. Looks golden yellow with almost no head.tastes a little grassy with s little but of pepper. Much less than the nose would indicate. Goes down smooth. Very solid.

Pours pale gold into a Sam glass. Bright white head crackles and recedes to nothing. Sweet caramel and peppercorn aromas. Soft with sweet rye and caramel upfront turning to a nicely spiced hot pepper finish.

Tap. Potent pepper punch, spicy hot pepper. Leaves a light burn on the throat. Black pepper, sea salt, ancho chiles, light dough. Nice.

Pours a cloudy light golden color. Aroma is typical of a saison style ale. There’s yeast, hops, grain, and flowers. Flavor is full of peppercorns right up front with yeast, leather, spices, and grass. Leaves a spicey yeast finish.

A kinda flat looking hazy light copper brew. Little to no head at all. Spicy aroma. Flavor is sweet at first, followed by a complex arraw of peppery notes. Definately interesting. Not a "beginner" brew, that’s for sure.

Tap at the brewery. Light golden pour with minimal head. Faint aroma of black peppercorns. Again, this is a winner from CBC. Imagine a great Belgan Golden ale and layer in green, pink, and black peppercorns. It’s amazing. 8. Peper and Belgian Yeast sweetness linger long on the palate. 4. O: 18

22oz bottle. Batch 1 bottled Feb 2012. Pours a golden orange color with a small white foamy head. Nose is syrupy with fruit notes of apricots and honey. Palate is soft and friendly up front, light bite in the middle, then hard stinging and pepper blasts in the finish. A nice pepper heat coats the tongue, grabs it’s wallet and emptys it’s bank account. Flavors of light sweet fruit are consumed by some bready notes woven with pepper bites and light rye notes. This is intense.

Tap @ Belgian Beer Fest 2011. Nose is lemon, herbal (thyme, rosemary), light white pepper. Flavor is lemon, thyme, light pepper, great pils character. Some yeast comes out in the finish.

Pouring at session one of Belgian Beer Fest in Boston. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a medium sized white beige head. Very light peppercorn, spicy and green. Gentle pepper, musk and wheat. Warm peppercorns on the finish, spicy and very nice. Well balanced with the peppercorn flavor coming through clearly, but not dominating and throwing things out of balance.
