COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle;
Helles and Pilsner combine – the pale, crisp body of Pils with the gentle hop profile of Helles. It’s pale gold, refined, elegant and dry. Soft biscuity malt, a light lemony, peppery hop character and the sort of bitterness which quenches and never overpowers. Matured for a long time in tank, it’s how a great lager should taste.

Bottle. Clear yellow pour, thin almost non-existent white head. Little bit of cereal malt and some hops in the aroma. Taste is fairly similar, body is a little watery. Not bad per-say but a little weak.

Bottle bought at Tesco in Eastbourne. Pours out in a clear golden colour with low ehad and medium body. Aroma of mild hops and light malt. Taste of mild hops, straw, barley, bread and malt. Grassy and medium dry finish. Drinkable.

Clear golden with a medium sized white head, some lacing. Aroma is yeasty and bisquity. Taste is grassy and yeast
Ok but I liked the unfiltered version better

Draught at the brewery. Clear a bit pale golden color, average sized dense white head that lasts for quite a while. Smell and taste lightly malts, a hint of hay. Can’t get a lot more, perhaps because the beer is quite cold. Decent.

Draft - Grains and some honey. Clear gold with a rich white head. Light grains and sweetness. Not very interesting, unfiltered is much better.

330ml brown bottle from a UK supermarket. A drinkable but boring pale lager. Few hops, mild soap, soft body with soft carbonation. Little flavour or character. Inoffensive but not inexpensive. If you want your beer this bland, go buy something a little cheaper.

hay, pale, clear, minimal head, light sweetness, medium bitterness, light body, thin feel, bitter, not a standout lager but light and refreshing would hit the spot on a hot afternoon

330ml bottle from Waitrose. Thin white head disappears quickly, no lacing. Pale golden body. Light straw on the nose. Flavour is grass, straw, biscuit, light bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, clean crisp mouthfeel. Decent lager.
