COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle;
Helles and Pilsner combine – the pale, crisp body of Pils with the gentle hop profile of Helles. It’s pale gold, refined, elegant and dry. Soft biscuity malt, a light lemony, peppery hop character and the sort of bitterness which quenches and never overpowers. Matured for a long time in tank, it’s how a great lager should taste.

On tap at the Breakfast Club, London. Pours golden with small white head. Malty, grainy, grassy, crisp, light bodied. some bitterness in the end. Quite boring.

Pint at sir Christopher Hatton A: Pale colour, clear, small to medium head, moderate retention, left some lacing. S: Toasted honey gave way to lots of red cabbage. T: Basically following the nose, watery texture but quite refreshing. M: Light, but a bit watery. O: I wanted something light and refreshing, this fitted the bill pretty well, although there are much better Bavarian alternatives out there.

A light refreshing lager with a hint of floral hops. Great session beer as not overpowering.

On tap at Generator Hostel, London-- Pours clear golden with medium white head. Nose is sweet malts. Aromas are grains, herbal hops, mineral notes. Average carbonation, light body. Medium bitter finish. Tastes like any industrial lager, nothing like a real German helles here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smell of hay, grass, straw like colour, small but persistent head with good lacing. Great balance between the sweet malts of a good helles and bitter hop profile of very good pilsener beer. Great balance and very pleasurable beer.

Bottle as Xmas gift, many thanks Andrew. Light golden color with medium white head. Aroma of malt, light hops, wet mop. Taste, malt, yeast, metallic notes, light bitter hops. OK beer.

330ml can. Clear pale yellow color with one finger head. Bready and slightly peppery aroma. Taste is more of the same, grassy, very little pepper. Nothing special.

Draught (keg) @various places in London. This is quite nice lager. Malts and hops are in balance, neither one is dominating. Great when you are thirsty. Why people are drinking imported lagers in pubs?

33cl bb03/2016, ta idiosynkrasie. Much like a macro DE Dortmunder/Bavarian Helles crossover with the wafery-mineral malt base of a UK lager. Hints of pepper, starchy zest, lemongrass stalk. Powdery palate, hence not wholly refreshing.
