COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle;
Helles and Pilsner combine – the pale, crisp body of Pils with the gentle hop profile of Helles. It’s pale gold, refined, elegant and dry. Soft biscuity malt, a light lemony, peppery hop character and the sort of bitterness which quenches and never overpowers. Matured for a long time in tank, it’s how a great lager should taste.

Rating this as a lager. It stands out a a great modern beer. Adds a bit more taste than the usual and yet maintains it’s roots as the everyman go to pint.

Bottle from Selfridges, Birmingham. Rather enjoyed this. It’s very slight, but the grainy malt flavour is nice - a good blend of dryness and feint sweetness. Enchants the tongue. Ethereal and easy to sip/gulp or ’sulp’.

Pours a clear pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma of grainy malts, strong hay and some biscuity notes. Flavour of grainy malts, grass, biscuit, some honey and bitterness. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes grainy, bitter and light sweet. Decent.

Bottle from Sourced. Pale golden body with medium head. Nose is hoppy, sweet, some paper edges. Taste corny, hops and maltier and sweet notes in the finish. A bit subpar despite the hip labeling.
