Helles and Pilsner combine – the pale, crisp body of Pils with the gentle hop profile of Helles. It’s pale gold, refined, elegant and dry. Soft biscuity malt, a light lemony, peppery hop character and the sort of bitterness which quenches and never overpowers. Matured for a long time in tank, it’s how a great lager should taste.

On tap @ Craft Beer Co. London. Crystal clear golden in color and it has a small light lacing white lager-head. Mild malty on the aroma, some clear bready tones here also, and hints of toilet water. Oh, fresh and refreshing flavors. It has a average small prickling carbonation level and a light oily to watery mouthfeel. Low on the bitterness, I get some semi sweet corn-like thing here. It’s malty and a bit floral. Really easy drinking and not bad. 21.07.2012

Can. Bright straw ale with a thick bubbly head. Nose is light maltiness and not much else. Light lemon/lemonade and malts in the mouth, a little biscuit, gentle drinking. A little pepperiness. Yummy in the sun! Good lager!

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Clear yellow-blonde with next to no head. Very dry tasting with a stated lager malt.

Golden colour with very little head. Not a strong aroma. Taste is quite smooth with a bitter after taste.

It's not a great Pils. Inoffensive, a bit lacking in body or taste. It's alright. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 330ml. A pale straw colour with almost no head. A sweet floral aroma. Flavour is hoppy, quite sweet with a citrus kick. Very unremarkable.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet grain, lemon, some vegetable and grassy hops. Taste of sweet grain, lemon, straw, some bread and grassy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A bittersweet, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Ok for a lager but I was expecting better from Camden Town. Disappointed.

Pours golden with a good foamy head. Aroma is a bit biscuity, sweet, like most lagers. Pleasant palate but the taste is your usual lager, some sweet malt but I just hate lager.

Really crisp beer. Clear and bright yellow. Dense, creamy head. Super refreshing helles.

This is as good as lager gets for my palate - good mouthfeel - pleasant enough for a thirst quencher before moving to an IPA.
