COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle;
Helles and Pilsner combine – the pale, crisp body of Pils with the gentle hop profile of Helles. It’s pale gold, refined, elegant and dry. Soft biscuity malt, a light lemony, peppery hop character and the sort of bitterness which quenches and never overpowers. Matured for a long time in tank, it’s how a great lager should taste.

On tap @ Craft Beer Co. London. Crystal clear golden in color and it has a small light lacing white lager-head. Mild malty on the aroma, some clear bready tones here also, and hints of toilet water. Oh, fresh and refreshing flavors. It has a average small prickling carbonation level and a light oily to watery mouthfeel. Low on the bitterness, I get some semi sweet corn-like thing here. It’s malty and a bit floral. Really easy drinking and not bad. 21.07.2012

330ml bottle from Waitrose. Thin white head disappears quickly, no lacing. Pale golden body. Light straw on the nose. Flavour is grass, straw, biscuit, light bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, clean crisp mouthfeel. Decent lager.

Bottle, best before 2014-11-10. Clear pale yellow with a medium sized diminishing white head. Sulphur, light citrus, light grain, straw. A bit low on hops. Light body, watery texture, medium carbonation, light/medium sweet and bitter. Ok drinkable and refreshing but could do with more pronounced hops and a little less sweetness.

Pale gold pour with a thin white head. Smelt a bit grassy and malty, nothing much beyond that but definitely not that Eurotrash funk to it. Sweet, malty, fairly crisp. Not much to it, but then nothing to really complain about either

Bottle BBE 10/11/14. Vary malty, cereal nose with grassy hop character. Pale golden appearance with small, tight white head. Very crisp taste with a little bitterness. High carbonation and a fizzy mouthful. Lingering bitterness. Overall a very decent lager

Nutty and sweet aroma. Very light golden honey colour. Looks like a very pale lager. A bit too fizzy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. Rating from 2013. Middle of the road lager that is okay without being outstanding.

Keg. Very clear and golden, a fizzy one finger white head. Aromas of wheat and cereal, a bit grassy. Taste- plenty of carbonation, fruity undertones, some bitterness in the finish, malty. Ok.

From a can. Pours a clear pale gold, tiny head, aroma of hay, well balanced flavours, light and easy to drink. It grew on me, I think I could have a big session on these.

BB 02.12.14. Poured a clear pale straw colour with a one-finger white foamy head that diminished quickly and laced poorly. Carbonation high and coarse. Aroma slightly of malt, maybe a hint of citrus, no hops evident. Taste of slightly sweet malt, no hops bitterness evident. Light body. A light, crisp lager like many other lagers.
