COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle;
Helles and Pilsner combine – the pale, crisp body of Pils with the gentle hop profile of Helles. It’s pale gold, refined, elegant and dry. Soft biscuity malt, a light lemony, peppery hop character and the sort of bitterness which quenches and never overpowers. Matured for a long time in tank, it’s how a great lager should taste.

Bottled at NK, Stockholm. Clear pale golden, small head. Fruity nose with some butter. Mid dry with crisp, rounded mouthfeel and light body. Grassy pilsnerish hops, long salty bitterness. Well balanced and nicely drinkable. A contender for the best British lager I’ve tasted.

Bottled 330ml ABM. Clear yellow color, small white head. Aroma has grains and maize, light herbal hoppy notes. Light bodied, quite watery bodied. Light sweet maltyness, light buttery notes, some grassy hoppyness. Flavor is quite German, but this one is watery and kind of weak.

Tap at Jolly Butchers. Pours a clear, very pale yellow with a light, white head. Pale malt aroma with crackers and faint straw. Flavor holds light sweetness with some sweat, good, biscuity cardboard and just hints of hops. Light in body with fine and lively carbonation. The finish has more easygoing, biscuity malts and light, crisp, short bitterness. A nice take.
