Draught at Draught House, Battersea Bridge on 9 Jun 2012. Poured a clear amber colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of grass, floral hops and toasted malt. Lemon zest in the flavour, with biscuit and caramel. Finish was slightly earthy, with pine and herbs.

Draught at The Lexington. Pours a clear amber color with a large white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Taste is like the aroma but also with notes of citrus fruits and grass. Thin body and lively carbonation. Dry finish. Okay beer - very drinkable but nothing special.

Tao. Hazy gold pour. Sharp, hoppy nose. Very grassy, hoppy, bitter. Tastes very "outdoors". Quite a bit of character for a golden ale if that’s what they’re calling it. Good one!

Keg at Well & Bucket, London. It pours a clear golden orange colour with a medium soapy white head. Aroma is grassy, flowery and resiny. Taste is moderately bitter with grass, violets and pine needles. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Overall, good

Cimbasso (238) - - OCT 29, 2014
Sampled on tap at the famous 100 Club in Oxford Street, London. A pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma of fresh bread and grapefruit. The taste has plenty of full-bodied malts, but with an astringent taste of grapefruit skin, along with other lemon, lime and lychee flavours. A good balance is achieved between the malts and the powerfully citrusy hops. A refreshing and flavoursome pint with a good bitter aftertaste.

Fra keg på Queen’s Head, Acton St. 23 Sep 14. Lys gylden. Lavt tett skum. God aprikosaroma. Smaken er mer aprikos & syrlig frukt. Svakt tørr ettersmak.

330ml bottle: BBD 1 Apr 15, drank outside looking at Borough Market on 11 Sep 14. Amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma is grassy and citrusy with plenty of bitterness. Taste follows along very samey. Nicely carbonated, alcohol well hidden, not bad at all.

The fresh citrus & piney hops fizzle off the tongue. However, the depth leads a little to be desired with an abrupt finish. A great session ale but not a connoisseur's drink. Rated by BrewTom

330ml bottle from Waitrose (I assume the bottle version of this goes in here under "keg" as usual). Clear amber pour with a huge fluffy lasting off-white head. Aroma is grassy bitterness and light grapefruit zest - no alcohol, very light grain body on the nose. Taste follow, a bit metallic - still not much alcohol. Average body, stinging carbonation, fairly quick, slighly acidic/dry finish. Pleasant enough.
