Tap @ Horseshoe, Hampstead, London, 4,7%. Pours a golden orange with a small, off-white head. Aroma is mostly grapefruit and pine. Taste is also a lot of the same. Mostly grapefruit, some citrus and pine. A light biscuity maltiness on the finish. A lot of carbonation, a bit too light really. One-dimensional and forgettable, not really that good.

Keg at tapping the admiral. Golden with a lot of carbonation. Fresh, light, citrusy, zesty aroma. Slightly sweet, with a caramel bitterness and solid maltiness. Pretty dry, too. OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A reasonable Pale ale great hoppy nose as you get near it, nice golden colour, and really a fairly lovely taste; until you swallow. The aftertaste in the back of your mouth was really quite off putting. If you could ignore it the rest of the brew was quite good. I dont always remember it being like that but they have recently changed brewers and grown so rapidly. Heres hoping that gets worked out.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear golden brown with a thick white head and little lace. The aroma is very grassy and floral. The flavour is medium bitter with some big hoppy grassy notes too. The hop choice is excellent This is a really refreshing beer and more like an IPA than a traditional pale ale.

Tap at the Hanging Bat, Edinburgh - 08/12/12. Almost clear mid golden with a thin white head that escapes to the edge. Nose is a touch peachy, pale malt, caramel, citrus notes. Taste comprises pale malt, orange, light pine, some citrus, caramel. Medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation lending towards a bitter dry finish.
