Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear golden brown with a thick white head and little lace. The aroma is very grassy and floral. The flavour is medium bitter with some big hoppy grassy notes too. The hop choice is excellent This is a really refreshing beer and more like an IPA than a traditional pale ale.

At 4.5% this is quite remarkable. Packed with flavour of cucumber, herbs & Turkish delight. Lots of bitterness too. Very American in style. Just a little too dry to be perfect.

Aroma: Slightly metallic and earthy.
Appearance: Hazy golden body with a fluffy white head that gradually fades. Very light carbonation. Nice lacing.
Taste: Grainy and lemony. Quite bland and boring.
Palate: Thin body with a watery texture. Gentle carbonation fizz.
Overall: Not one I’d have again.

Draft at Dost, Uxbridge. Nice cloudy pale orange pour, with a fine silky head to it. Nice dry hops and biscuit malts in the nose, certainly a bright and inviting brew for starters. Mouthfeel substantial but not overly thick. Crisp and lively flavors, brighter hops than the nose indicates and a slightly dry finish. Goes down nicely.
