3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Keg at The Hanging Bat. Pours clear pale gold, light haze, long-lasting head. Light citrus and vegetal aromas, more citrus pale ale than lager-like. Taste is light bitter, again, more pale ale territory for me. Nice enough though.

On keg at the Craft Beer Rising event at Drygate brewery.
This one took the green vegetable lager notes to a more pungent level. There was almost a garlic/root vegetable thing going on, certainly on the nose. The taste proved to be cleaner and more lager like. This brewery has definitely shown it can do a whole range of lagers.
