Cask at Euston Tap, London. Pale golden beer, small offwhite head. Fruity grapes aroma, sweetapple notes. Fruity flavor, grapes, tropical fruits, some grassy hops. Long balanced hoppy finish.

Cask@The Black Heart, Camden. Very good, lovely fresh hop aroma, floral fruit, tropical fruit etc. Palate is hoppy, dry, round, and nicely dry and softly bitter in the finish. This is wonderful. Unbelievably more-ish.

Cask at the Southampton Arms on 20 April 2011. Slightly hazy gold with thin white head. Sea aroma with pleasant salty fragrances. Intense hoppiness of grapefruit in liquid and a fine upper-mouth bitterness in aftertaste which builds and lasts. Light mouthfeel.

Leighton (4095) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2011
Cask at the Euston Tap. Clear, light yellow-gold with a dense, pure white head. Aroma is piercing grass, weeds and grapefruit - amazing. Light to medium sweet flavor, bit of cat piss, straw, lemon and other citrus, grass and subtle earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light sticky finish, loads of fresg hops, mild malt character, some straw. Very refreshing and drinkable.

On cask (handpump) at the Rake on 13 April 2011. After being very impressed with a number of low ABV but extremely hoppy beers recently - Brodies Brain Wave and Redemption Trinity spring to mind - Camden Town are the latest London-area brewery to get in on the act. And it’s a real winner. Pale gold in colour. Slightly hazy. The flowery, leafy, juicy, tropical fruit hop burst makes an immediate impact on the nose - I’d be very surprised if there weren’t some Nelson Sauvin in here. That impression carries through into the flavour profile but, unlike some of the intensely flowery low beers I’ve tried recently (which can tend towards soft and even slightly flabby in the mouthfeel) this has a little steely bite to provide more grip and firmness. Not a huge amount but just enough. There’s a sprinkle of residual sweetness here but not enough to detract from an excellent, and refreshing, drinkability. Very impressive.
