COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Camden Pale Ale Style: American-style Pale Ale ABV: 4.0% IBU: 40 Malt: Pale Ale, Cara, Munich and Wheat Hops: Cascade, Columbus, Amarillo, Centennial, Simcoe, Calypso and Citra (BOOM!) Available: 30 litre kegs and 330ml bottles The story: Inspired by outrageously hop-heavy American craft brews, we wanted to brew one of our own, only at a lower, massively-drinkable ABV. It’s our UK spin on an American classic. The taste: Punchy American hops throw out a big aroma of grapefruit, orange and tropical fruit. It’s a bright orange-gold colour. The body is subtle and clean and a golden platter for carrying the hops. The bitterness rolls in and then ends dry, making you thirsty for another gulp.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2014 On the lager side of pale ale. Not bad but not much depth of flavour. Decent, not brilliant.

Draught at the brewery. Clear orange golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly hops, decently bitter, a bit dry. Decent body and carbonation.

33 cl systembolaget. Kul med en bärs från Londons härligaste område. Kommer bara ihåg att jag gillade denna

Pale in color - yes, but dark and rich in flavor. Aromatic with woodtones so emphasized it is like tapping it directly from the wooden keg in an english pub. American style - No! Very english, very Camden. Hoppy, but with british moderation and weak in alcohol unlike the IPA. This I could imbibe for hours. Cheers!

33 cl. bottle from SB poured in to a Tulip. Unclear, deep golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, spruce, grapefruit and sweet, exotic fruits. Very fresh. Taste is bitter. Light to medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with grasses and citrus fruits. Slight caramel malts. Rather dry, very fine for a warn evening.

330ml brown bottle with a plain but unusually shaped label, poured into a Tulip glass. Appearance is clear amber with a small white head, that dissipated without leaving any lacing. Aroma of orange peels, lemon zest and pineapple. Taste of orange peels, wheat bread and a hint of grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light bodied, thin texture and average carbonation. Overall not bad for a 4% ABV beer, pleasant fruity flavours but lacks a malt base and is unsurprisingly light and watery.

Bottle. Clear dark golden body with a small white head. Aroma is peaches, apricot, pale malts and hints of rose water. Taste is mild rose water, peaches, pale malts and hints of grass. Light body, medium carbonation. Decent enough pale ale with few surprises.
