Aroma: Strong sour/tart citrus, grain/straw, banana, coriander

Taste: Sour citrus, grainy dry finish. medium hops bitterness, light banana, bread,
Palate: Light body, slick mouth-feel, medium carbonation with a bit of a bite
Overall: It is a bit sour/tart for my liking, but I enjoyed this and I will enjoy it regularly!

Soft nose. Pale beige large head. Dark brownish color. Not very sweet hoppy and wheaty taste. Mild hops. Not very special.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Rather dark colour, cloudy and dull tan, with a just a thin head. The aroma is a bit musty/yeasty with just a hint of bananas. Sweet, with some footy yeasty...quite yeasty all told. Short shelf life - gets tart fast.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Hand filled plastic bottles from store in Cape Town. Dark rusty orange, not such a nice color. Scant head too. Aroma is fairly clean but completely unexciting. Sweetness on the palate with some starchy banana lingers without becoming cloying. Malts are nutty and nice. Thin and strangely dark but generally ok.

didn’t check the bbe. either this was a really old bottle or a bad beer. Brown colour little head, wierd sharp taste, didn’t resemble the style at all. Didn’t want to drink.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
330ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
Poured with such a huge tight persistent head that only the clear part fit in the glass. That meant that the cloudy part had to be pured carefull, and only made the very top cloudy. Eugh, two layers, not pretty. Acidic homebrewy wheatbeer aroma, nasty, almost acetic. Some, but less, acidic taste. earthy and dirty. fullish, but watery too, and with fizzy carbonation. A horror.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Ahhh a Dunkelweizen :0) or at least half dark with a nice golden head and quite hazy. Pleasant nose of the small kind. Very plesant taste with a fresh sourish taste that will make it a perfect companion to fish. Reminds me a bit of a decent white wine tho with a slight bitterness form the hops in it.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the Biscuit Mill, Cape Town. Quite a dark weizen, more like a Schneider in brown colour, with thick white head. Looks, smells and tastes like the real thing! Spicy aroma with apple and some mild clove, taste is quenching, slightly dry malty, with a hint of hop. Light in alcohol for the style, great for a summer lunchtime!
