COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bavaria cannot be any closer - our beer recipe designed by a Bavarian world champion brewmaster Michael Plank, ingredients from Germany and a touch of our clear blue skies occasionally scattered with white clouds that provide the water to brew this lighter somewhat drier wheat beer, tingling the back of your palate for yet another sip and possibly another glass. This open fermented bottle or cask matured masterpiece is prone to confuse your whereabouts - yes you really are in Namibia enjoying a Bavarian style wheat beer or “Weissbier”.

Bottled 300ml (Pikkulintu)
Dark hazy nut brown-amber color, good creamy beige head. Dry wheaty aroma with sour notes and some cardboard. Light-bodied. Some toasted banana, slightly sour, caramel, paper. Feels unclean and not so fresh, but German it is. More like Dunkelweizen than normal one.

Tap at the Biscuit Mill, Cape Town. Quite a dark weizen, more like a Schneider in brown colour, with thick white head. Looks, smells and tastes like the real thing! Spicy aroma with apple and some mild clove, taste is quenching, slightly dry malty, with a hint of hop. Light in alcohol for the style, great for a summer lunchtime!

Bottled at 19 glas, Stockholm. Cloudy amber, faint head. Lightly citric banana aroma. Mid sweet with light body and spritzy mouthfeel. Unripe banana, elderflowers and wheat bread. Slight bandaid and some surprising bitterness in the finish. Correct, but not great.

Koelschtrinker (7054) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 4, 2011
Sehr milder Herbeantrunk, hier wirkt das Bier bereits etwas trocken. Im Mittelteil kann das Bier nicht punkten, kaum Hefe, minimal Malz, ansonsten herb. Naja... 11/6/7/6/9/6

UPDATED: MAY 14, 2011 Bottle at 12 degrees C. A nice aroma of banana and maybe citrus fruit. A good foam that settles a little early. Light in colour and a little cloudy. A little dry beer. A good Weizen

Pours a hazy brown-gold with a lacy head that retains a lot of lace. Tasting notes are typical of the style (clove, banana, even some orange) and the relatively low alcohol content gives fresh examples of this beer a slightly tart flavor compared to somewhat older (in terms of 2-3 months) bottles to have a more mellow taste.
