Draught at The Victory Café. Pours a clear copper with a small diminishing white head. Mild aroma of sweet malt, grain, fruit and hops. Flavour starts with sweet malt and fruit and ends with a surprising amount of hops -- tasty! Light and creamy body. Pretty good and definitely one of the better Amber beers I’ve had.

Deep redish brown with a thin but lingering head. Roasted malt smell with something else (barly?). Strong hops in the tatste. Grainy but solid. Crisp with a strong spike in the aftertaste that fades quickly. Fairly simple but pleasant.

(12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with iwantalambic, thanks Justin!) Grainy malts, tea, mushrooms and light earth in the nose, but overall, it just smells badly oxidized. More earth and tea in the flavor, some very slight roasty and even a hint of smoke in the finish, but it’s not as grainy as I was expecting based on the nose. Bitterness and sweetness are mild. Body and carbonation are both light-medium. Dark amber in color and slightly hazy. Small, white head quickly settles to a filmy layer. Not very good, but oxidation has obviously taken its toll here, so I’ll be generous with my scores.

Eructoblaster (2518) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 11, 2005
On tap at Highlander Pub, Ottawa. Nice chestnut brown body with a thin off-white creamy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with light roasty notes. Taste is fair but lacks complexity. It ends with a decent bitter finish.

Bottle acquired in trade with beanmedic (thanks!). Poured a medium and clear/see through amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Grainy aroma with some caramel. Watery tastes of caramel, lemons, and citrus. Thin and watery body.

Washed out amber with a thin white lacing head. Good carbonation. Very pleasant pungeant british hops with caramel notes. In mouth, crisp sweet malt with nice hops and pinhous, light citrusy notes. A nice session ale.

Enjoyed this beer, although it’s been awhile since I had it last. Went down smooth, and left a nice after taste

Bottle (341ml). Poured clear amber-orange with an average foamy off-white head. iambeer nailed it - aroma of strong homemade iced tea with extra lemons and oranges, no sugar. Also nice wheaty grains, a bit of light hops, mild dry malt, touch of fruit and musty oakiness. Interesting. Taste is pretty mild - sweet roast malt, citrus, touch of pine resin, apple/grape seed. Starts a little sweet, finishes slightly metallic bitter. Light and minerally mouthfeel. Needs more body but just what I needed sitting on my balcony watching the airshow, after a crappy Tuborg "Gron".

341ml brown bottle. Medium amber with a sparse white head. Malty, caramel aroma with honeyish notes. Fruity malts, sweet, detectable hops - slight floral. Has it a bit of body, lightly hopped finish. My glass emptied remarkably fast.

The taste was a bitter/sweet, reminded me of ice tea? Aroma was of green apples. Hadnt tasted anything similiar, but refreashing. Good
