I am of two minds about this beer. At their plant it went down well but was way too cold, and am told it is their best seller. It did not store well in my beer celler (no pun intended) and diacetyl was apparent serving it at normal beer serving temperature. The box recommends it be fridge stored

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz courtesy of peteinsd. Poured a clear amber with decent retention and very small, spotty lace. Sweet orange candy, bread rolls, unsweetened iced tea in the aroma. Taste is metallic, soapy, hydrogen peroxide, less offensive than the Cream Ale. Eventually some German malt forward character come through and even some slight burnt caramel. Void, soapy palate.

Bottle. Clear chestnut brown colored body. Nose all caramel malt, maple and toasted grains. Hefty body up front, thins over the middle. Straightforward toast, toasted grains, caramel, a bit of burnt amber. Okay for what it is.
