Great beer. Great to drink all year around. 9 packs are a great unique option.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2009 Sampled at the Kitchener craft beer show. Pours an auburn colour with a lot of head off-white head. Aroma is mostly just delicious roasted caramalts, coffee and some metallic hoppy earthyness. Taste is very coffee-driven, but sweet not bitter, very much like a decent quality bitter, same as the aroma, almost like Wellington’s Arkell Best Bitter, but not quite as good as Arkell used to be. Enjoyable though, super tasty and drinkable, a nice brew.

I first tried this beer on October 19, 2007 at my annual hockey pool. The beer poured a beautiful pale translucent red colour with a thin white head. The aroma is a little bit of hops and a little bit of fruit, plum like. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour is hoppy with some malt, plums, and yeast tones.

341 mL Bottle. Amber with a 1-finger white foamy head that settles to a scanty film but lacing the sides amply. Intense hoppy aroma with a note of grapefruit rind and a hint of floral. The flavor takes the experience to another place: it is sweet malt, toffee, a hint of brown sugar, and a slight aftertaste of grapefruit rind ending in a clean finish. My message to the brewer: keep up the great brewing. I can hardly wait to try your other beers.

This is a very unique tasting beer that goes down quite smooth. I don’t know why this isn’t highly rated.. I love it.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2007 bottle: A nice copper/amber colour with white head. Lot’s of malt aroma along with a hint of citrus. Beautiful malt flavourings with a nice, well balanced hoppy bitterness. Goes down smooth with some sweetness. Very nice. Comparable to a Tankhouse or Big Rock Traditional Ale. I know it’s an ale but this may replace the Molson bastardized Creemore in my beer fridge.

My rating is based on a taste I had on tap fresh at the brewery, so it's a little higher than it might've been if based on a bottle or draught in a bar. Dark copper colour with minimal head. Aroma is sweet and malty with some dark fruit notes. The flavour is very full and sweet, with caramel, malt and hints of orange and cherry. Moderate bitterness in the finish.

(Bottle) Another Cameron beer that pours virtually no head. The The body is a beautiful mahogany with no carbonation. The aroma is of strong hops and tastes of slight malt. It finishes initially with some bitterness but follows into a smooth end. Very enjoyable!

This is quite a nice, smooth beer. the flavour and smell are pleasant, and the aftertaste leaves you wanting more.
