Bottle. Poured a clear amber-orange color with a bubbly off-white head that receded to a spotty layer. Aroma of caramel, light grain, a light herbal earthiness, and some soft citrus. Light, faintly sweet entry with some light caramel leads into a soft orange flavor with some grainy undertones that finishes lightly dry with a bit of lingering citrus and a light earthiness. Low carbonation and a bit of a bland, thin mouth feel. Overall, this had some decent qualities, but it didn’t really deliver in the flavor which took away from the total package. The bottle was a bit old, perhaps I will retry a fresher one in the future.

Smooth lacey head and a pretty caramel color. Wonderful earthy aroma. First taste is a slight caramel followed by an orangy full mouth feel. Slight lingering bitterness with more orange and caramel.

A nice orange color with an OK head, that is quickly disappearing. The aroma has nice notes of clover and honey, and the flavour has floral notes of fruit and hops and caramel. The finish is nice and citrussy.

Dark amber with a thin head. Grains and sweet malt notes in the aroma. Roast malts, carmel and orange in the flavour. Farily smooth with a dry finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, dark amber with a creamy, off-white head leaving some lacework. Very neutral aroma - perhaps a whiff of malt. Rather light in body, vague notes of caramel while the oranges manifest themselves with quite some sourness. 030107

toasty carmale malt, apple and other white fruit int he aroma. Body is a light amber and holds a pinky sized, diminishing white head. Fruit laden toffee and caramel make up the fore. Quite heavy with fruity notes really, but mildly toasty to balance it. very low bitterness. Enjoyable quaffer.

Copper color with a small, but stable bone colored head. Fresh bread dough, with a stollen sweetness. Some raisins and candied cherries seem to seep into the nose. There are some orange rind scents as well. Nothing real alluring in the olfactory department. Mild malt and light earthy caramel come together in the flavors. Some mild floral hops that seem to add to the sweetness. Quite boring, yet quite typical.

Bottled. Pours a clear amber with a thin head. Aroma is sweet malts, and slightly hoppy. Taste is malty, some bitterness and a metalic aftertaste

I can see belllying up for a bunch of these, it being such a smooth, tasty drink. It pours a deep copper body with a small head that laces in slow moving sheets. The aroma is caramel, butterscotch, apples, and cherries with an aura of light citrus scents. The flavor is caramel malt with a light orange bitterness, mild, but lingering long into the finish. Nice.
