Scent of malt, toffee, and yeast. Clear straw colour. Flavour of coffee, caramel, and malt. Mild bitterness, with medium body and lively carbonation. Pleasant, but not too interesting.

Pours a nice dark gold. Thin white head. On the nose Iím getting some nuttiness, some toasted malts, and what I like to describe as wet cereal in milk. On the palate, there is no bitterness. I guess that translates to mild sweetness, although definitely not pronounced sweetness. I am detecting no hop presence. This was part of a 4 beer sampler pack. Not bad, but I wouldnít go out and buy it individually.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2014 Rating #842 - December 18, 2013 - Beer 18 in the Craft BeerAdvent Calendar. Bottle. 5%. Pale, clear yellow, with a white head. Aroma is kind of corny/ vegetable-like. Has a light sweetness, light body, creamy, average carbonation. Stale, grassy hops dominant in the finish. Rather weak, and the worst of the Calendar thus far. 4-2-5-2-8 ReRate March 19, 2014 - Camerons mixer pack shared with clients. Much fresher stock, decent mouthfeel this time, with more balance. Doesnít absolve my disdain for the style, however. 5-3-5-3-10

Clear dark golden with a big white head. Aroma is mild and inoffensive, with some light fruitiness. Taste is... Ok. Boring but drinkable.

CBAC day 18. Looks like a cream ale... Smells like a cream ale and tastes like a cream ale. Overall itís a nice take on the style however itís just so light and boring. Pours a clear copper gold with a small white head but tons of lace. Aroma of malts, corn and light dme with some fruity esters. Taste is light caramel malts, some dme/corn a d fruity hops. Light crisp and refreshing just oh so boring.

Advent calendar day 18. Alright for a cream ale. Not much of anything as far as flavor or aroma. Again.

Advent day 18. I donít really drink cream ales but this seems all right. Smooth, light and dark malts, hints of caramel but nothing exciting or bold.

341 mL bottle from the brewery, served in a stem glass. Pours clear golden with a small off-white head that fades and leaves a small amount of fine lace. On the nose there are notes of grain, honey and noble hops. The flavour is well balanced between light sweet malts and grain on one hand and subtle noble hops on the other. The finish is medium in length with herbs, delicate hops and lager notes. On the palate it is light in body with a smooth, watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a well made cream ale, but it is fairly simple, without much complexity. 2013-05-14

Craft beer advent calendar day 11! *YAWN* Pours a brilliantly clear golden colour with a moderate white head that settles to thin and a little lace. Aroma is corn, some dms, some fruity esters(almost peachy) and a touch of dme like maltiness. Taste is mild bitterness, dms, corn, moderate malty sweetness, light fruity esters, kinda creamy mouth feel, high carbonation and a slightly dry finish. "...flavourful American lawnmower beer" Not bad for the style but the style is like a budwiser with an ale yeast.
