Bouteille 341ml.

LCBO taster pack - not great. Had 2 to be sure. Very bland and sweet, tastes like a coors light with sugar. Very light on the body and has no real flavour other than ’beer like’

worldbeertaste (1654) - AUSTRIA - AUG 31, 2012
Gold with a thin dissapearing white head. Smells of bread, butter and light cream with a light stale yeast element. Thin light body with soft carbonation. Tastes of butter and cream with a malt corn tart finish. Malt and cereal. The aftertaste is bitter with a rot yeast aftertaste. Not that nice.

Out of the four in the taster’s pack this was my favourite. Cream ales are meant to taste like this. A good combination of sweetness and bitterness, nice body. Got the white head. What else do you want? It’s a cream ale, one of those beers where 25% are crud, 5% are recommended, and the rest are in the mushy middle. Camerons is a mushy middle brewer, but slightly above the waist at least, so here ya go.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentine. Thanks Oren. Clear golden. Grainy and fruity aroma with a bit of veggie notes. Sweetish grainy flavor with some corn. Light-bodied,.

LCBO, Toronto sampler ($8.95): Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma is lightly fruity and malty. Beer itself is a little sweet with a nice malt backbone. Palate is perfectly pleasant. No complexity is there obviously, but this beer is perfectly acceptable as a session ale.

Single 341mL bottle from LCBO. Pours clear golden, with a thin dissipating head. Aroma is a balance of yeast, hops, and malt (crazy, right?). Taste is pleasant and creamy, with British hops in the finish.
