bottle. Light gold colour, small head. Aroma is grainy malt, kind of nonexistent. Taste is a little grain/bread malt, tiny bit of hop kick. A decent, simple lager
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Swalden28 (2540) - McKinney, Texas, USA - OCT 3, 2011
Bottle. Pours clear gold with white fizzy head. Not much aroma to speak of, notes of malt and faint mild hop. Flavor is a bit more intriguing but not by much.....decent, simple and a bit tasty. Light body with high carbonation. Overall, not bad!

Bouteille 341 ml. Couleur jeune, arôme de malt et houblon. Goût de céréales, malt et un peu de houblon. Finale sèche. Très bonne lager.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 ncube (19) - - SEP 21, 2011
Bottle from taster’s pack. Head dissipated quickly, but lacing remained throughout. Golden colour. Smells of grass and hay. Does tast pilsner-y. Lightly sweet hay malts, some bitterness, and very mild hop flavour. Faint bitterness remains after a quick dry finish. Not bad for a north american interpretation of a pilsner, but not as flavourful as I would like.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 14, 2011
Originally rated May 2006. Comes in a 9-pack case, this lager pours a golden-yellow colour. The head is white, creamy-bubbly, has average lager retention and leaves some wavy lacing. This is definitely a different kind of grain malt that I am used to in this kind of beer. Active carbonation and creamy mouthfeel. The same different malt is tasted. Some slight sweetness, some slight sourness. Lemon shows up in the aftertaste. An above average lager worth upgrading the name to premium.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 probstk (1911) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 7, 2011
341 ml bottle in a mixed pack from LCBO, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. 16AU11.
App.: Clear golden with a fair white head.
Aroma: Reasonable fruity malts, biscuit, a bit of grain/cereal, a touch vegetal.
Palate: Medium body, moderate effervescence.
Flav.: Some fairly decent fruity/biscuit malt, a touch vegetal, that’s about it; dry with limited bitterness and a nondescript fruity malt finish.
Forgettable.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Trev (1424) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - AUG 22, 2011
Bottle: Pour is gold with a quick white head.
aroma is sweet, strange apple/peach fruitiness that I don’t usually associate with the style. Some grassy hop as well.
Flavour is light, grainy malt, some floral and lingering grassy hop.

Bottle from LCBO Manu. Clear pilsener body with slightest head. Nose is corny and pilseneresque. Taste is corny too with some grass and hop notes. Bitter in the finish. Well done.
