COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not all lagers are created equal and we have proven this with our fresh approach to this common beer style. Cameron’s Lager was created with inspiration from the Pilsen region of the Czech Republic, and refined for the Canadian palate. Brewed using premium Czech hops and given a full 30 days to condition, guarantees this beer lives up to its World Beer Cup medal.

Has some acceptable herbal hops flavours, but is otherwise basically what one might expect from this brewery (that being light microbrews for the rookie palate).

from Mondial de la Bière 2011, Strasbourg - quite clear blond beer with a poor head retention; shyly herbal nose; medium-bodied and with some herbal tartness, decently bitter and with a dry and tart corny and herbal finish - raw and simplistic

Pale straw-coloured pour. The aroma is a bit sweet. Simple and slightly grainy as well. A fairly light pale lager with little to recommend it. A touch soapy on the finish.

Taste was off and may be daicetyl. Had it in the plant. Light but little in way of taste. Marginal beer, could sub for a national brand. I couldn’t finish a glass, but your average beer drinker would likely drink it and simply not ask for another. Creamy head with noisy pour.

Bottle at tasting at work. Alround rating: Nutty sweet malts, notes of candy sugar?, bitterign hops are present, but i find it boring and not hot.

TFOB. Pale yellow, slightly fruity and hoppy. Pretty average. I prefer their cream ale to this.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2009 Bottle (341ml). Clear light gold with a thick fizzy-foamy white lasting head. Oily, not-too-sweet aroma of cereal grain and sadly, a little bit of corn (hope I’m wrong! - maybe canola?). The taste is clean, again that oily cereal character, no corn - simple, very crisp, no aftertaste. Not bad!

Bottle courtesy of HogTownHarry. pours a clear pale gold with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of grain, caramel malt and light hops. Flavour’s the same: Grain, light hops and caramel malt. Light bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Average bodied. This is a fine, well made Lager -- maybe it was a case of right beer at the right time but I liked it.

[2342-20090730] Sample. Leafy yeast corn aroma. Clear, light orange brown body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Odd grape leaf yeast flavour with a long sweet aftertaste. Light-medium body. Actually kind of poor, sadly.
