[500ml bottle, Beers of Europe, King’s Lynn] Black pour with a fluffy, light beige head. Slight coffee aromas. No real hop presence, there’s a decent amount of sweetness that might get too much after a while, but one bottle is pleasant enough drinking

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty much as black as stouts usually. Smell is a little bit smoky and somewhat coffee type aroma. Taste is mildly smoky, bit sweet and a bit bitter. Balance of hops and malts is good. Finish seems to be slick like a little oily. OK stout, but nothing super exceptional.
