Cornfield (4223), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Jun 13, 2005 24 ounce can (which I sadly couldn’t bring myself to finish): Golden with loads of tiny bubbles and a film for a head, this has a sweet metallic candy aroma. The taste is sweet, grainy, and tinny. I didn’t taste the 8.5% abv, but I could tell it was there once the heartburn began. Ernest (4145), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jun 6, 2003 Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal, grain), with
hints of
apple and alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet. Finish is lightly sweet,
lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively
carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Not as bad as the other Camo, and a
surprisingly lasting, normal-looking head for a beer of this type. JPDIPSO (4109), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Sep 6, 2002 Sweet and alcohol aroma, especially as it warms. Fairly thick and almost syrupy. Yes a true american malt liquor! I know the marketing, but I don't need the 24 or 40 oz. packages of this. ClarkVV (3545), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Mar 5, 2004 Smells sharp, alcoholic, metallic. tastes sweet, highly sharp and putrid. Looks fizzy, clear. I don't know why I even bother with stuff like this. Wow is this stuff foul. I will concede that the mouthfeel wasnt all that bad though, for a cheap malt liquor. Braudog (3454), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Nov 14, 2004 Like all these "high quality" "beers", this poured bright golden with a fizzy, airy head. The aroma is sweet corny and malty. The "much anticipated" flavor is highly starchy and super sweet and alcoholy, not like I didn’t know what I was getting into. Surprisingly, this isn’t as gross as some of these malt liquors, but about what you’d expect. All in all, I’d rather drink this than some other beers.
