2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 oh6gdx (15510) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 14, 2006
Bottled (6.5%). Hazy pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma is spiced, fruity, barnyardish and alcoholic. Flavour of sour apples, some spices, fruits and alcohol. Also yeast. No aftertaste to talk about. Quite poorly balanced thing, watery and I almost feel offended by the acidicness in it. It’s on my list of stuff not to buy again.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Jukkabro (3457) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 6, 2006
Dark yellow colored, little white head. Cloudy appearance. Aroma is finely spiced with orange, lemon, yeast and
mild licorice. Medium bodied. Flavor has apple, lemon and spices, surprised to find some obvious alcohol from there also. Yeast also in flavor. Aftertaste has crispy lemon with yeast and some fruits.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bov (7098) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 28, 2006
cloudy orange colour, little creamy firm head; aroma of pear and apple with strong spicy notes; overcarbonated, sweet with some tart acidity; long perfumy and fruity finish with lingering acidity notes - quite unusual and not bad at all
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TBone (9096) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 30, 2005
Bottled, alc. 6,5% (BB 12/2007)
Light mango color, a bit hazy, small white head. Sweet yeasty apricot aroma. Medium-bodied, soft palate. Grassy hoppy, carbonated mouthfeel. Bitter, alcoholic aftertaste. Drinkable triple but quite simple.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 aspidites (1273) - manteca, California, USA - NOV 16, 2005
Almost underattenuated and grainy nose with notes of corn syrup and curacao. Fast dissipating realease of gases with poor head retention. Corn syrup and grain again on the palate with mild white fruit. Sweet and lingering finish
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 sayravai (4522) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 29, 2005
(Bottled) Slightly hazy golden color with a medium, foamy and white head. Yeasty, somewhat acidic, dryish aroma. Acidic and sourish, quite dry, wheaty-malty flavor with orange-peel and cardboard hints. Medium-bodied, acidic and dryish palate with a bit foamy carbonation. Re-rate wouldn’t hurt, as this was the 21st rating of today... Not one of my favorite beers, anyway.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (21782) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 27, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) This original version is from brewery "Biertoren" in Kampenhout. Comes with a back-label in Spanish! That’s something I’ve never seen before. Golden, honey-like colour with an incredibly tall, and pretty head. Very soft mouth-feel in spite of the carbonation. Flavourwise there isn’t that much happening. Some sweet malt and a hint of some citrus. But not much body. 180398
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Mullo (102) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUN 12, 2005
Rather pleasant. Quite sweet & smooth. Lots of fruitiness and other flavours - peach, apple, citrus, honey. Heavy doughy yeastiness. Pale malts used, acquiring grain, bread and cookie flavours.
