Nice freshness. Gold appearence. Nice with foam on top. I prefer this beer on warm days. Serve very cold. And i recommend a chilled glass to serve it in. I think this beer deserves a better rating. Recently the brewery changed something and the taste is mutch better then before.

At some beer bar in Lyon: Pours gold with a white head . Aroma is grain and grassy hops. Taste is lightly sweet and pretty bitter. Standard pils, and not bad for what it is.

On tap at le sur mesure in Nantes. Clear golden. Medium carbonation and medium body. Very little flavour and quite watery in texture too, certainly nothing complicated going on here. Nothing much.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle @ home. Clear yellow golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste are exactly as to be expected: malts, a hint of sweet malts or corn, lightly grains, lightly bitter finish. Average body, medium carbonation. Typical, decent no flaws but unexiting pale lager.

Huyghe’s contribution to the big puddle of bland standard lagers, taken over from Biertoren in 1993. Moussy, white, quite stable head, colour pale golden blonde. Grainy character with some aromatic hops in the finish, otherwise there is not much to say about this. Just another boring lager.

Helder geel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is hoppig bitter met licht zure bijsmaak. Verder niet echt bijzonder. Blijft niet lang hangen
