Bosskie (52), Netherlands Feb 26, 2008 Bottle, but I can’t remember where I drank this :-)
Appearance: weak head which dies quite quickly. Burnt sienna colour.
Aroma: burnt sugar, sugarcane, winy, cherry, alcohol sweetness. Reminds me of cherry beers.
Dark, woody, chocolate sourness with hints of cherry-sweetness.
Bit like one of those bonbons with a cherry inside. Interesting! Nice!

Aroma is caramel malts, mild fruityness, some mild alcohol and a bit yeasty. Flavour is much the same along with slight burning notes from a combination of spices and alcohol. Quite mouthdrying. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, citrus, and yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, bread, and fruit as well as a light touch of spices - among them black peber, leading to a dry bitter finish.
