2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 tomer (972) - Rishon Le Zion, - JUN 29, 2008
0.75L bottle. After long deliberations i came to the conclusion that inspite of the the name this is a belgian witbier, any other thoughts on the subject are welcome.
Small, stable head, thick murky deep orange colour with some dark wellow streaks. Strong yeasty nose with some herbal notes. Taste is dry with some citrusy notes but not much else, some light sweetness creeps in the back.
The body is light to medium and the aftertaste is creamy and pleasant but not too long.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Beershine (4718) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - MAY 24, 2011
Big bottle. Looks quite nice, a cloudy peachy orange with a tight and stable weizen head. The aroma is immature and yeasty, with a Sprite or Fresca pop accent. Fizzy carbonation. Unfortunately the flavors are poorly developed and messy. Although the wheat malt itself has a nice character, the yeast leaves an unpleasant aftertaste of rotting fruit and 7up. Has a Belgian character, albeit a bungled one. With some tightening up, the quirkiness could work in its favor. Amateur, but fun enough that it’s not bad.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ungstrup (23960) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 25, 2010
Bottled. A murky orangey beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with a light acidic edge and notes of caramel and wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Bottle, 7%. Peppery aroma, faintly fruity. Cloudy dark amber colour. Yeasty flavour, some butterscotch. The finish has some paper. Tastes almost drinkable at first, but the finish is quite bad.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 3, 2009
Bottled from Almog, West Bank. Cloudy pale amber, creamy head. Caramelly nose. Sweet and tick with syrup, dough, medicine and caramel. The sweetness and thickness takes away all refreshing qualities, but it’s also quite rich, although some of the flavours are less desirable.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 zvikar (1328) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - DEC 5, 2008
From bottle, deep orange with small tan head, funky aroma in there, mainly yeast but also overrippen fruits, flavours are funky as well, too yeasty for my taste, will be pleasant for those who like over dose of yeast and cirus beers, aftertaste is sweet with banana notes. Well what can I say they tried to brew wit beer and it came out very unbalanced.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 DSG (3005) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - AUG 12, 2008
Bottle. Hazy dark orange with a medium off-white head. Spicy aroma with some yeast, coriander, some fruitiness and citric notes. Sweetish flavor with some orange peels, spices and quite a lot of yeastiness as well as some wheaty tartness and light alcohol notes. Medium-bodied. Not so bad and definitely a Belgian style. Some news about the mysterious brewery: I discovered a few days ago this brewery is located in an industrial park in one of the bigger settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories (not really in Jerusalem like stated on the bottle), so regardless of what their beer tastes like, I hope they’ll fail miserably.
