COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Chestnut brown with a fine light brown head. Caramel and chocolate malt aroma along with herbs and spices, cloves comming to mind. Very herbal and spicy flavor giving it a harsh bitterness and an unplesant sharp raw spicy finish. The malty sweetness is nice and complex, but overpowered. Would probably be a good beer without the spices.

(Bottle). Spicy scent and a strange taste to say the least. Incredibly spicy flavor with clear hints of cloves, cinnamon and herbs. Once you become accustomed to the taste, it is quite okay.

Bottle @ WWT II. Pours hazy dark brown with a red glow and a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet and spiced with malts, cinnamon and quite some laurel. Taste is sweet malts and spices and a quite bitter finish for a beer like this. Warm finish. Not a fan of spices in beers, but a decent beer anyway.

Bottle @ WWT II. Pours a clear amber beer with a small beige head that leaves little lacing. Lovely pour. Aroma is very spicey, influences of cinnamon, cardemon, bay leaves all carried on a malty backbone. Very nice, full aroma. Flavour is as you would expect from a beer like this. Very spicey, with a longlasting, dry bitter finish. Very nice winter warmer
