COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a big grapefruit bouquet as intense but not quite as fickle as Lake Superior herself, this smooth and spicy brew will take you on a ride. Stoned Surf is a medium-bodied IPA with a frisky hop aroma to balance its complex malt backbone. Speaking of backbone, this ‘Merican Pale Ale is intended for those with just that. Think big, think bold, think about hopping in the lake and taming a fresh water wave, my friend.

Tap at Winterfest 2013. Clear orange pour. Full flavored - grapefruit hops. Nice hop aroma. Very good.

On tap @ Canal Park Brewery. Pours a medium amber with average lacing. Smells like a stroll through a pine forest. Taste follows suit, with huge dose of pine, grapefruit, and plenty of bitter hops. Good, short-lived aftertaste. The clear winner from the samples I had, and I enjoyed the pint thoroughly.
