Orange in color. The hop profile in here is citrus with a slight pineyness. There’s also a nice caramel maltiness to this as well. Nicely balanced, try it out oaked if you can!

on tap at brewery while camping in duluth in june. Awesome beer for a new brewery. Normal color, head, beautiful aroma. Awesome taste that rivals most IPA that i’ve ever tried. Just wish i could get some more of it!

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Copper color with a small head. Light orange aroma. Big tangerine and orange flavor. Very bitter. Amazingly an IPA that’s the opposite of most: a light aroma, but crushed it on the hop flavor and bitterness. Really nice!

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2013 My growler tipped over on the ride home, leaking a little. Had to coax some head out of it with an aggressive pour. 2 days since bottling. Pours a clear amber with good lasting head and great fine grained lacing. Aroma is a nice mix of pine, floral, and citrus hops. Taste is resiny pine and citrus hops in just the right measure. Malts come in the middle, giving the body depth and chewiness. Hop bitterness hangs on throughout without being overpowering, and aftertaste fades to a great balance of hops and a wonderful bready, caramel malt. This is a top-notch IPA.
On tap @ Canal Park Brewery. Pours a medium amber with average lacing. Smells like a stroll through a pine forest. Taste follows suit, with huge dose of pine, grapefruit, and plenty of bitter hops. Good, short-lived aftertaste. The clear winner from the samples I had, and I enjoyed the pint thoroughly. 9+4+8+3+16=4.0 (12/27/12)

Great beer even at first taste! Heavier, grapefruit taste, bitter joy. Will definitely come back!
