It’s Christmas-time in Paris, and that means the Noël beers are appearing again! This has a foggy dark amber-brown body and a decent solid head on top. The aroma is wood and barley, some malty spicines. Taste is a typical amber brew, lots of malt and some nutty notes. Not bad, not great.

Bottle. Brown- orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is alcohol, malt, fruit. Flavour is sweet, malt, alcohol, hop, fruit, caramel, yeast, dried fruits. Medium body. OK beer.

Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a hazy, orange body with some microfloaties and a dense, finger-thick beige head. Malty nose with some fruityness, sweetness and hints of dried fruits. Nutty, toffee flavor with some fruit notes, maybe a bit sweet. Medium to full body with pleasant carbonation. A quite pleasant beer. 091024

Bottle 750ml. w. swing top. Unclear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, berry - fruity, light to moderate hoppy, apricot, moderate yeasty, soap. Flavor is moderate to light light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091024]

Hazy amber with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and and apricots. Flavour was sweet with malty and caramel notes, though peaches and apricots came through.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange to light brown with a minimal off-white head. Mild spiced and caramel malty aroma. Mild sweetness lurking through. Sweet caramel malty towards breadish and light roasted and spiced. Holds a nice counterbalance in the hops. Light bitterness into a medium dry yet tastye malty finish. Nice one.
