2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, - APR 9, 2006
Pale straw colour. Light straw and grain aroma. The flavour is light but like crunching pale malt. Quick, indistinctive entrant to the lager stakes.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Lagerboy (416) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 25, 2012
Clear pale yellow, wispy white head vanishes. Light grassy malty aroma. Mild caramel and buttery malt taste, low hopped background. Softly carbed, light bodied. Clean soft finish. Mellow indeed, hardly exciting; though once again there is no stale date on the bottle, so it may have flattened a bit. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Light bright golden with a long-lived foamy cap. Aroma is clean cereal grains with hints of dry grass on a hot day. flavour is simple but pleasant: grainy, biscuity pale malts with a subtle pleasant grassy hop note in the finish. Thankfully this was enjoyed before any other beers, and paired with a mild curry meal. Simple and good.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - AUG 9, 2011
Bottle from Westminster Liquor Store in Penticton Pale blond color. Mild aroma, with tones of corn, cereals, honey, vegetables. Dry mouthfeel, with light malt flavor, some late corn syrup sweetness, and low bitterness. Very simple.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Powertrip (841) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 25, 2010
Nice pale yellow colour with a hint of mint green! Spacious frothy head. Nose: Light malt mixed with wild flowers and fresh water lake air. Simple but tantalizing. Taste: Light caramel, light but firmly crisp hop, soft butter, and more flower. Very easy taste but distinctive and relentless at the same time. Extremely, extremely refreshing. One of, if not THE best lagers I have tried to this date. Well done. Fantastic effort.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 CapFlu (3798) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 24, 2010
(650ml bottle) Purchased at the brewery on June 10, 2010. Pours a medium, white foamy head atop a clear gold body. Nose of corn and grain. Fairly crisp, lively carbonation and corn base - some hoppiness though subtle. Not bad to have a 6 of these while boating down the lake.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Vertical Bacon Strips (1698) - Asshat, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 1, 2010
Poured out a clean light straw brew and a small, foamy white cap. Apples on the nose, grains and grass, fragrant and attentive aromas, light spiced hops finish off this nicely. Fresh and crisp taste is immediate. Apples that lean to acidic hit first and then slowly blend into excellent mild caramel, weak grass and something else for malt flavours. These blend into a weak but balancing hop spice which then give way to a malty finish. Nice palate with its clean entry, fine carbonation, smooth mouth feel and malt finish with proper bitterness. The more I drink this (quickly I might add) the more I really dig it. I’ve kind of forgotten about the apples as the malts are the showcase here. There is a fine line between good lagers and excellent lagers and this one has risen above.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 presario (4133) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 23, 2008
Sample off the tank at the brewery. Brewer said it is brewed with Wyeast steam lager yeast. Straw coloured. Very creamy white head. Minimal scent. Solid clean taste. Nice palate. A hint of nut.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 HazelRah (276) - Summerland, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 31, 2006
Billowy white head atop old gold. Aroma reminds me of homebrew where there is some unfermented dextrose kickin around. First taste is sweet like clover honey but a hint of floral hops comes through as well. After awhile there is a buttery quality.
