4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Once I opened it I could smell blackberry juice smell from a distance & that kicked ass. But bottle to nose showd some roasted bitterness smell. I used my tall hobgobline glass & recived like a 3 finger bubley cola brown head that seemed like it was thick(IDK)and lasted. Black beer but to light some dark red to it and thats when you can see throw it a bit. Taste is blackberry like juice that slides all the way throw and then is mostly gone but stays in a sourish after taste,I also got all this roastedness, chocolate taste & some bitterness. Sits a bit heavy/full in belly from the hops. I can enjoy fruit beers and had other fuit porters b4. Fan of porters and this is not blowing me away taste wise like the 1st smell but still a kick ass easy driking yummy brew cheer’s! :)

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Smells like blackberry, some malt - pretty rich aroma. Pours dark brown/black with some head and pretty good lacing. Palate is medium to high. Taste has bitterness which tastes like a mix between roasty malt and blackberry. A bit of sourness as well. Bottle from LCBO.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear dark black with an reddish head to it. Smells of sweet blackberries and chocolate malts. Taste is a well balanced fruitiness with a full bodied Porter that’s bod on flavor. Alcohol seems kind of hot at first but balances well with the fruit and chocolate and cocoa malts.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
It pours deep dark brown, almost black with ruby highlights; the head is beige and foamy (long lasting). The aroma has notes of: blackberry, dark-chocolate, and sweet malt. The taste is light sweet that finishes light-medium bitter, and light sour; there are notes of: sour berries, peach (hops), faint chocolate, and light charcoal. The palate is light-medium bodied, oily, light carbonation, and long finish. Overall, the beer lacks flavour, the blueberry is definitely present, but the porter backbone is water...

Bottle from LCBO. Pours nearly black with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted barley and sweet berries. Smooth and creamy taste, at the same time roasty, and only a little hint of berries. Thick mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a dark brown/black with low fine tan head. Smell is almost entirely sweet fruity blackberry, but there’s a small hint of some roasted malts in the back. Palate is quite nice, some soft yet active carbonation and a medium body. Taste is not as sweet as the smell would have you expect, you really don’t get much taste at all, just a bit of sweetness at first, then some slight bitterness in the aftertaste.
