COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The addition of natural maple brings this premium stout a softer, smoother mouth feel and adds a touch of sweetness to balance the dark rich malts. It is a truly Canadian version of an old British classic.

This was great. Strong maple aroma. Taste is of toasty malts with slight bitterness. Maple comes across perfectly. A well done maple stout.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Dark brown with very quickly dissipating tan head. Aroma of salty caramel, maple and roasted malt. Flavour the same, doesn’t quite blend, but works nonetheless. Body is quite light however. Would drink again, but don’t expect a stout.

Noir sombre avec un col moyen le couleur du café. L’arôme est dominer par le sirop d’érable. Le goût à un peu du café et du malt rôti avec un finition et après goût d’érable. Il y a un peu d’amertume en finale aussi.

pleasant, flavourful, light carbonation, easy drinking, needs some chilling, almost no head, nice mouth feel, more than a suggestion of maple, slightly sweet

Very easy stout to drink. Nice and smooth with a hint of maple and smoke on the finish. Rich black in colour with very little head. Could have more maple aroma to really entice the drinker. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A wonderful dark brown stout that has the smoothness approaching that of an oatmeal stout, but trades up the silkiness for the maple sweetness. It cloys in a pleasant way, rewarding slow sipping and gradual enjoyment of the bottle. Filling! Highly recommended for a winter night.

Dark brown pour with small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and faint maple syrup. Taste of roasted malts, unsweetened chocolate, and faint maple. Medium mouthfeel and higher carbonation, very faint hops on the finish. Was expecting something a little sweeter from the maple but just not there, too bad. Very good beer anyways.

This beer would be great on pancakes. A little too sweet on its own, though the bitter finish helps.

Pours dark brown with a multi layered thick beige head. Decent lace that lasts. Salty maple nose. Reminiscent of china lily soya sauce that has been sitting in the fridge for a long time. Maple forward first sip. Rich molasses and salty. Finishes clean with a touch of bitterness. Not overbearing as I was first expecting. Proper flavoured stout. Well played

Draft at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver. Pours black, slight tan head. Medium lacing, aroma is sweet, with maple being almost to the point of overwhelming. But wait, what’s this? Nice medium body, taste of maple is muted, finish has just a hint of bitterness, and is pleasantly long. I’m often skeptical of maple in beers, but this was a well-done and eminently delicious stout.
