Bottle. Dark amber brown pour without much head. Very malty, a bit sweet without much bitterness. Slightly nutty. Not bad for the style.

Bottle shared with northropfrye. Aroma, pretty nutty and delicious. And flavour wise, this doesn’t disappoint -- even nuttier and more delicious in taste. I usually don’t like nut brown ales, but this one I could just guzzle. Yum!

Brown slightly red body some lacing not much head. Bready dried fruit malty aroma. Taste is malty with a touch of roast, some lactose.

M.A. 121114 (1173-060814)

Pours see through brown, like a cola. Has a cloudy head that stayed till the bottom, but no lace. Tastes of roasted malt, chocolate malt with a nuttiness. A tinge a sweetness makes a nice balance.

Naramiddle of the road Nut Brown. Nothing bad here, but far from being special. You expect more too with a medal hanging around its neck. I tastes of chocolatey malts and nuttiness, with some mild hop flavour in there. All of it is kind of lackluster though. Nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing to ruin your day.

650ml bottle. Pretty average nut brown. Deep red brown colour, clear, some foaming off white head. Nut and malt aromas. Taste is brown sugar, nuttiness and some mild earthy bitterness. Creamy body. It is what it claims to be, nothing less or more.

It’s....it’s....it’s.....fairly decent and shouldn’t really be complained about because, hey, you’re drinking a beer. You could be dead. Dark hazel with an off white number on the noggin. Roasty, nutty and chocolate malts paired with a resin and herb hopping. A wee bit of leather and dough in the flavour. It’s a nice brew you might share with a cute lady who has a medium bod and is fairly soft and isn’t disagreeable.

ENG: 650ml bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the Teku glass. Dark red, clear color, medium, white head and a bit of lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, roasted caramel. Tastes malty, roasty with nutty finish. Unfortunately these nuts are very subtle... Cocoa, coffee popping out after a bit warm-up. Malty aftertaste. Low to medium carbonation, medium body. Overall easy drinking, refreshing malty character beer, but very subtle, smooth. Not bad.

PL: Butelka 650ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do Teku. Barwa ciemno-czerwona, klarowna, piana jasna, średniej wielkości, nieco lejsingu. Aromaty palonych słodów, palonego karmelu. W smaku słodowe, palone, lekko orzechowe pod koniec. Niestety orzechy są bardzo słabo wyczuwalne... Po lekkim ogrzaniu wychodzi kakao, kawa. Słodowe w posmaku. Niskie do średniego wysycenie, średnie odczucie w ustach. Podsumowując łatwo pijalne, orzeżwiające piwo o słodowym (ale delikatnym, gładkim) charakterze. Niezłe.

Bottle - Caramel malts and nutty note. Dark copper with a rich beige head. Light malty notes, caramel and slight nutty notes. A decent beer for sure, but nothing particularly interesting.
