Une odeur un peu vineuse, un peu caramel.
Un peu d’acidité, un peu d’amertume, le sucre est très discret. CO2 élevé, arrière goût chaud assez plaisant.

Don’t be afraid of the Dark, Lagerboys!
Roasty rich malts, sweet caramel, some chocolate and nuts and light on the hops, this is a light, velvety smooth soft ale.
Another yummy desert beer!
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Scubaguy (230) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 13, 2011
It pours a dark brown color with some ruby hues when held to the light. It has a light tan head. It is very light on the carbonation front. Appearance it’s bang on for a nut brown.
The aroma has some carmel notes and nut’s.
The flavor is has a huge amount of nut. As well I am getting carmel, Little faint chocolate notes. There is some espresso thrown in there. It has sort of an overpowering sweetness.
It finishes a light bitterness but it lingers a little. Overall pretty smooth and easy drinking. Not bad but nothing great either. It’s just not doing it for me.
4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Jagooar (18) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 11, 2011
I really enjoyed this beer. 355 mL can poured into glass. Not much head, off-tan in colour, dissipating rather quickly with some lacing. Deep, rich dark brown in colour. Almost opaque and chocolate looking when first poured. When one holds it to the light, visible clear rich brown colour, very nice. Scent of malts and perhaps caramel tones. Delicious rich taste. Definite nut flavours. Very smooth, well carbonated, delicious beer. I would almost describe it as a richer, more robust Newcastle Brown ale. If you like NBA then this one will blow your mind.

Pours a dark chestnut brown with a full head. Kind of watery with hints of malt and smoke that turn to molasses on the tongue. Not a great beer, doesn’t have any real flavour, would not buy again.

Bottled. Nutty, malty aroma. Very dark brown hue with an off-white head. Roasted nuts and hints of espresso coffee, with a smooth finish. Good.

Can. Rich dark brown and translucent with small creamy head that dissipates slowly. Slight chocolate aroma. Medium bodied, smooth. The right amount of hop flavour for the style. Definite dark chocolate taste. I’d have this one again for sure.

Pours the perfect color for a "nut brown ale". Head is very active and fizzes out quickly. Aroma of malt. Taste is straight up malt and finshes clean with slight bitter after taste. Very drinkable.
