Nice dark and malty aroma. A really thin head and not so sticky to the sides. Taste is okay but not exceptional, waaay too waterish.

Good pour of brown ruby dark ale. Nice head which recedes quite quickly to a thin film. clings nicely to the sleeve glass. Aroma has something I can’t pick out which is unfortunately on the negative end of things. The taste is rich, brown caramelized sweetness, good mouthfeel although maybe a touch too much carbonation for me. I’m getting a lil walnut somewhere in there. Overall drinks quite nicely. Definite thumbs up, I wish it were on tap somewhere close to me. 355 ml can

An okay brown. Pour is a dark amber with a foamy finger of beige head. some light lacing and moderate carbonation in the body. The nose is nutty and caramel malted with some notes of light roast and toffee. The first taste is mildly sweet and grainy with toffees and light fruits. An overall nutty taste with just mold and somewhat bland flavors overall.

Une odeur un peu vineuse, un peu caramel. Un peu d’acidité, un peu d’amertume, le sucre est très discret. CO2 élevé, arrière goût chaud assez plaisant.

Don’t be afraid of the Dark, Lagerboys! Roasty rich malts, sweet caramel, some chocolate and nuts and light on the hops, this is a light, velvety smooth soft ale. Another yummy desert beer!

It pours a dark brown color with some ruby hues when held to the light. It has a light tan head. It is very light on the carbonation front. Appearance it’s bang on for a nut brown. The aroma has some carmel notes and nut’s. The flavor is has a huge amount of nut. As well I am getting carmel, Little faint chocolate notes. There is some espresso thrown in there. It has sort of an overpowering sweetness. It finishes a light bitterness but it lingers a little. Overall pretty smooth and easy drinking. Not bad but nothing great either. It’s just not doing it for me.

I really enjoyed this beer. 355 mL can poured into glass. Not much head, off-tan in colour, dissipating rather quickly with some lacing. Deep, rich dark brown in colour. Almost opaque and chocolate looking when first poured. When one holds it to the light, visible clear rich brown colour, very nice. Scent of malts and perhaps caramel tones. Delicious rich taste. Definite nut flavours. Very smooth, well carbonated, delicious beer. I would almost describe it as a richer, more robust Newcastle Brown ale. If you like NBA then this one will blow your mind.
