Light but slightly roasted nut aroma. Light head. Ruby brown colour. Light body. Flavour is roasted malt and chocolate. A little bit of sourness in the finish.

sleepdirt (169) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 6, 2004
Brown chocolate colour with nutty-caramel taste. Somewhat hoppier than other nut brown ales I remember(at least this bottle is!). Decent beer that would be better with a little more body and better carbonation. Mine went flat pretty quick.

Lubiere (9438) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 3, 2004
Clear deep brown with milk chocolate aroma and earthy overtones. Sweet malts with Nutella and chocolate, but not much hops. Good body but would be better with more floral hops added. Thanks to Piscator.

Fairly average brown ale, a little nutty, a bit on the thin side and a tiny bit earthy.

piscator34 (1888) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 4, 2004
Dark brown in colour with very little carbonation. Aromas of chocolate malts and canned nuts. It has a similar profile as far as flavor goes, and is thankfully not too sweet. A bit watery, and not very memorable, but not horrible either.

Dark brown beer with a fine-grained tan head. Wonderfully rich smell of roasted almonds, vanilla, and faint chocolate. Flavour is similar, with sweet nuttiness and chocolate. Has a nice slightly bitter coffee finish and a rich creamy body. This is another very good beer from this brewery.

Smooth with a deep flavor. One of the better beers I have tasted. Great poured from a bottle or drawn from a Beer Pig/Party Pig.

Brown body with a large tan head. Impressive roasted nut flavour with a chocolate nad coffee taste to blend in nicely. Finish was sweet and enjoyable. A nice ale.
