3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 GypsyHead (28) - California, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Much better beer than I was expecting for a trendy bar on Cannery Row. This amber hits all the right notes for the West Coast end of the spectrum, balances malt and hops nicely, but is missing a little body, and there was almost no head, though it was decently carbonated.

Nice reddish pour with carmel flavors balanced by hoppiness.

Served on tap @ CRBC. Pours a golden colour with a slight red colour. Lots of hop aroma. Lacing all the way down the glass. Mouth feel is full bodied and kind of a dry finish. Overall a little hoppy for a red, but enjoyable still.
