COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The dark Cannewitzer Bock is brewed after an old secret prescription. It is male strong, characterful by its sympathetic roasting notes of dark malts, it runs liquid - sueffig over the tongue. A true speciality is always preferred by connoisseurs, because it is somewhat special.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of metal, malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, malt, bread, and caramel, leading to a dry, bitter, and metallic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle, shared by Papsoe. It pours a clear, dark golden body under a finger-thick, beige head. Caramel and butterscotch on the nose, rather one-dimensional. Butterscotch, some roasted malts, sweetness, some grains and a little dried fruits in the mouth. Medium body. Sweet, caramel finish. Not my idea of a dunkler bock, and not very successful I think.
