Cask@Out of the Vaults, Leicester. Very dark mild with a light head. The aroma is very light and the flavour is weak and very mild. Overall a plain mild beer.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Dark reddish brown color. Sweetish aroma with toffee, apple and dark caramel. Dryer taste with toffee, nuts, apple and some fruity marmelade. OK albeit a simple mild.

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 2. Pours clear, dark ruby with a foamy, off-white head. Ripe fruit aroma. Nice flavor, sweet, fruity for sure, subtle dark malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Slight roasted malt finish, nice dark sugar and ripe fruit notes. Good beer.

Gift from Sj. Not much to say about this one. It was a bit thin and simple. The aroma was pleasing with it’s hints of bread and fruit. The flavor was slight caramel and fruit.

Pours a dark mahogany, thin head.
Aromas of roasted malts, fudge, chocolate, yeast, and vanilla (?).
Dry, light to medium bodied, low bitterness.

Cask at GBBF 2010. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of sulphur, leading to a dry and lightly roasted finish.

Cask, GBBF 2010. Achingly average mild; thin mouthfeel, washy old roasts and fleet of hop. Makes me wonder why CAMRA persevere is promoting this style, which has now become whatever the brewer feels like brewing.

Cask @ GBBF 2010. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel and toffee aroma. Roasted malty weak toffee and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel finish.

Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, toffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic - sour and moderate bitter with a long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100803]

Cask (GBBF 2010) - Dark brown with red tinges. Roasted aroma with coffee and raisins. Roasted taste with hints of coffee, roasted malt and dried fruit.

Cask at GBBF 2010, 3rd Aug 2010. Dark brown, line of persistent off-white head. Lots of rich milk chocolate. Very sweet and quaffable.
