Cask Stillage at the Charotar Patidar Samaj, Leicester 18/03/2006 Sampled with maieb and haddonsman and I have to agree this one was also my Beer of the Festival, fine example of the style. Black and slightly rich on the palate with fruit and roast aromas. Fruit flavoured bitter and slightly dry with a full roast finish.

Cask conditioned at Coventry Beer Festival. Black beer with a hint of tan head. This was a strange beast, the initial impression was of a Coca Cola type sweetness wich rapidly disappeared into a smokey bacon crisp type flavour. Some fruit at the edges a little light coffee, certainly complex but not in a great way.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Leicester BF. A black beer with wisps of tan coloured head. The aroma is nicely roasty with some berry fruits. The taste is roasty with a little mocha, and good bitterness. Tasty, moreish and my Beer of the Festival.
